Don't know. Must have been a while ago. I haven't used it in a few weeks. Pulled it out today and it as buzzing and burning.

That sucks dude. I almost broke the Fan on my Royal handvac the other night. Accidently vacuumed up a screw that went to a full size Lakewood Box Fan. :oopssign:

I've done that with my Kirby's. Never worry, they have strong fans. If I do it with the Legend II it just gets tossed into the emptor, it never makes it up the bag.

This is not the only time I've had trouble with 90's DD fans. When I was young I sucked up a toothpaste cap in my mom's Stick Vac and cracked it. Vacuum guy fixed it for us.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Your vac shouldn't be buzzing and burning just because the fan is broke. You might have a motor issue.
