i just hooked up my Realistik record/cassete player in my room, it's been sitting unused for like a year in the formal living room. i have a problem with the turntable, it won't spin. when i lift up the head to put on the record, all i get is a little hum. Any ideas on what's wrong and how i can fix it?

the pulley/motor probly froze,oil the bearings... it's somewhere in that spot unless something fell under the top main turntable thing and made contact with non moving parts..etc

others can tell you more or give out better details since i haven't had one in years and never use it that much,i usally tear mine apart and play with the gears/pulleys
