bad news. the xenon decided to :censored: so now im stuck with my old nokia 6102i
:censored: piece of :censored: 's touchscreen quit working. and i can't access menus since the OS relies heavily on the touchscreen. i can still call, send messages, take pics. but i can't view received messages, access the menu items due to the touchscreen failure

Yes, Kiry! I've upgraded to it on my iPod Touch 3RD-Gen 32GB! It's nice, even though I haven't had time to try out all the cool new features yet (e.g. "Folders"). It freezes up a little though, and it's actually no longer available as 4.0.0, as 4.0.1 took its place, and I'm not upgrading because I can bear with it freezing up, it only does it a little. Bottom line: UPGRADE!

4.0.1 is actually meant for iPhones. my 3GS and my 4 has 4.0.1

and for multitasking to work, your current apps must be updated to versions saying iOS 4 tested, as older versions WILL not take advantage of the multitasking feature. several apps are already updated for iOS4, but some older versions for iOS 3.x still remain

most apps intended for the iOS 3.x series will still run on iOS 4 flawlessly, but not taking advantage for multitasking. some might show some flaws, or even crash or not run at all. i've dealt with that problem a few times.
