most of the buildings here were built in the early 1900s, some were built in 1950s, from when the schools were first built to the 1950s, they were lit by incadescent lighting, but in the 1950s ( or mabye later) they changed over to fluorescent lighting, i dont know who made these fixtures , i have a couple of pics of some of our school halls

this is a pic of the empty washington high school, it has been empty forever

Too bad they can't just be shuffled around. Preschool enrollment in Metro-Atlanta has reached 1 million kids; we're gonna need more schools!

i love old schools, theres alot of cool old things in them, i like that stlye of lights, and that drinking fountain, schools liek this had some good fans too
